This is a reminder to all eligible families who need transportation to sign up now for busing via the MAPS website (
mapsnet.org)
if you meet any of the following criteria:
Your student is new to the district and needs busing
You have an incoming Kindergartner or Junior Kindergartner who requires busing
Your student is currently assigned to ride the bus and has graduated up or moved to a new school –elementary to Bothwell or Bothwell to the High School or Alternative High School. Our bus routing system drops students when they move to another school. Even though your bus information may be the same, if your student is now attending a new school, please complete the Transportation Request Form so your student is assigned to ride.
The Transportation Request Form can be found on the MAPS website under Parent Resources.
Also, please see the Here Comes the Bus information listed under Transportation. Once signed up for busing, a new bus rider will receive a Student Bus card which may be mailed to your home address or hand-delivered by your student’s bus driver.
Please note: student bus cards do not change from year to year or with school to school transitions. Please do not throw them away! Should you require a new card, please indicate this on your busing request or contact our office at the number below.
Busing assignment for the first day of school is not guaranteed for requests submitted after Friday, August 23, 2024.
